| The–In–The–Wall–Barrier™ Composite is an effective means to soundproof a room. The In the Wall Barrier™ Composite is designed to fit between 16 inch on center studs. The composite is 3 inch thick, 14 1/2 inches wide by 48 inch tall. The composite is made up of 1 1/2 inch of Acoustic foam, 1lb vinyl barrier, and another 1 1/2 inch of acoustic foam. Our acoustic foam is Ul 94-HF1 fire rated. The acoustic foam separates and absorbs and blocks any sound transmission of noise through the wall. The acoustical composite turns the kinetic energy of a sound wave into heat energy. The 1 lb vinyl barrier material traps the noise in the wall and contains the noise in the room. In addition, the Vinyl barrier vibrates in the suspension of the foam to dissipate the energy into the foam. The STC Rating for the composite is 36. In the Wall Barrier™ Composite has been used in a variety of applications including: making a soundproof room, home theaters, studios, isolation rooms, and industrial soundproofing applications. | |

Installation of: Wall Barrier Acoustic Composite
Fast and easy, no cutting, no sizing. Simply place between stud system. If cutting is required a utility knife can be used. If an adhesive is desired a silicone based is recommended.
